⫸ link ⫷: there are a lot of issues most asset creators dont consider when using the CC BY-NC license over CC BY-SA. even the main point, the definition of "commercial" remains undefined by the license. good faith people who respect licenses will be wary of breaking terms and err on the side of caution while bad actors wouldnt care and could use the work commercially regardless. the end result is artists not getting their work used despite made for the purpose of being usable by their peers. this limits creativity especially in indie circles
